The workplace can be challenging for a variety of reasons. In addition to the usual job demand and stress, women and ethnic minorities face unique challenges including work-life balance, harassment, and bias. ​ To be successful in these often white male-dominated spaces, it is important to understand the barriers and potential pathways to success. Whether you are dealing with microaggressions or figuring out how to confidently establish boundaries, you don't have to do it alone. While I can address a variety of challenges, my sub-specialty and interest are in the following areas: ​​ Minority stress: dealing with bias & discrimination in STEM, academic and business fields Women in leadership, STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math and medical) science, academia, business & ministry
